There was a surprise result when Skyliners II outplayed Deisenhofen in Frankfurt 93-59 on Saturday. Skyliners II made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game, while Deisenhofen only scored seven points from the stripe. Skyliners II forced 27 Deisenhofen turnovers and had a 24-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Deisenhofen's players. Point guard Philipp Hadenfeldt (188-99) notched 23 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Felix Hecker (193-98) supported him with 9 points and 8 assists. Skyliners II's coach Sepehr Tarrah felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 23 points and 8 rebounds by Bernhard Benke (208-97) did not help to save the game for Deisenhofen. Center Fynn Fischer (208-99) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Skyliners II will meet Rackelos in the next round where they are favorite. Deisenhofen will have a break next round.
