There was a surprise result when Neustadt TSV beat at home Aschersleben 95-90 on Saturday. Neustadt TSV dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Aschersleben's 50. The best player for the winners was Dutch point guard Dyon Doekhi (188-87) who scored 30 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Neustadt TSV will meet Rendsburg on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aschersleben will play against Stade and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
