The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Turk Telekom in Ankara on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Tofas 74-72. Mexican Francisco Cruz (191-89, college: Wyoming) fired 12 points and 6 assists for the winners. Croatian forward Tomislav Zubcic (211-90) chipped in 15 points. Mexican point guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191-93) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and international Berk Demir (204-95) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Tofas is looking forward to face Buyukcekmece at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
