The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of SSV Lok Bernau at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Kangaroos 94-68. French-Guinean Tidjan Keita (207-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds. Croatian point guard Toni Prostran (183-91) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American center Dan Oppland (201-84, college: Valpo) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Abdulai Abaker (185-96) added 10 points and 5 assists in the effort for SSV Lok Bernau. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kangaroos is looking forward to face ETV in Hamburg in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SSV Lok Bernau will play on the road against Wolmirstedt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
