But Buyukcekmece was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Istanbul 95-87 on Sunday night. American guard Melo Trimble (190-95, college: Maryland, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and American-Bulgarian point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: MSU) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. Five Galatasaray players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Jordon Crawford (168-90, college: BGSU) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 8 assists and Enes Taskiran (190-97) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Galatasaray's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Dacka.
