Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-92, college: Howard Col., TX) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Chris Coffey (201-97, college: Georgetown, KY, agency: One Motive Sports) contributed with 31 points and 8 rebounds (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field) for the winners. MBC's coach Igor Jovovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international Robin Amaize (196-94) replied with 25 points and Czech center Martin Peterka (205-95) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Braunschweig. Five MBC and four Braunschweig players scored in double figures. MBC is looking forward to face Crailsheim Merlins at home in the next round where they are favorite. Braunschweig will play against Bayern Muenchen and is hoping to win this game.
