Regular Season Round 2: Pinar Karsiyaka - Bahcesehir 90-81

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Acibadem on the court of Pinar Karsiyaka on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Pinar Karsiyaka 90-81. 35 personal fouls committed by Acibadem helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Bonzie Colson Jr (198-96, college: Notre Dame) orchestrated the victory by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Senegalese-French Amath MBaye (205-89, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 9 points for the winners. Ghanian-American Ben Bentil (204-95, college: Providence) replied with 13 points and 5 rebounds and Muhammed Baygul (191-92) added 15 points in the effort for Acibadem. Four Acibadem players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pinar Karsiyaka is looking forward to face Efes in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Acibadem's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Fenerbahce.
