An interesting game was also tough home loss of Fethiye in a game versus undefeated Kagitspor 74-72. Fethiye was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. American point guard JVon McCormick (183-8, college: Auburn) nailed 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Mert Ulutas (-97) accounted for 20 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Muhammet Kalkan (203-0) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-90, college: UC Irvine) added 13 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for Fethiye in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Kagitspor will meet at home Akhisar Bld in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fethiye will play against Manisa and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the BSL just one year after relegation.
