Very important is a road loss of Balikesir against Mamak on Saturday night. Visiting Balikesir was defeated by Mamak in Ankara 105-88. American guard Mark Lyons (185-89, college: Arizona) produced 22 points and 6 assists and the former international forward Izzet Turkyilmaz (212-90) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Mamak will meet Konyaspor on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Balikesir will play against Samsun and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
