Four Eagles players scored in double figures. Eagles' coach Patrick Elzie used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by Czech center Adam Pechacek (206-95) did not help to save the game for Artland Dragons. American forward Taren Valdis Sullivan (198-95, college: Findlay, OH) added 19 points for lost side. Eagles moved-up to fifth place. Loser Artland Dragons dropped to the twelfth position with two games lost. Eagles will meet at home Walter Tigers (#8) in the next round. Artland Dragons will play against the league's second-placed Leverkusen (#2) and hope to win that game.
