There was a minor upset when Turk Telekom (1-2) was defeated on the road by Buyukcekmece (1-2) 81-71 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American Evan Bruinsma (202-92, college: Detroit, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Jordon Crawford (168-90, college: BGSU) chipped in 13 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American Aaron Harrison (198-94, college: Kentucky, agency: Network Sports International) who recorded 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and international Berk Demir (204-95) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Turk Telekom's coach Burak Goren rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Buyukcekmece will meet Afyon Bld (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Turk Telekom will play against Dacka (#3) and hope to win that game.
