Regular Season Round 2: Manisa - Fethiye 83-80

Manisa used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Fethiye 83-80 on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was American power forward Andre Williamson (203-89, college: App State) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: RMU) chipped in 15 points and 8 assists. Forward Muhammet Kalkan (203-0) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Ahmet Tunali (203-92) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Manisa will meet at home Kagitspor in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Fethiye will play against Final Spor and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the BSL just one year after relegation.
