Regular Season Round 4: Muenster - ETV Hamburg 96-61
Date: October 10, 2021
Very predictable result when top-ranked Muenster (3-0) rolled over at home bottom-ranked ETV (0-3) 96-61 on Sunday. Muenster forced 23 ETV turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by ETV's players. The winners were led by Canadian guard Ryan Richmond (185-96, college: Bentley) who scored that evening 20 points and 9 assists and Stefan Wess (203-94) supported him with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Even 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists by Mubarak Salami (198-96) did not help to save the game for ETV. Leonard Eckmann (196-96) added 14 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Muenster have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of South leader, which they share with Iserlohn and Wolmirstedt. Newly promoted ETV still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Schwelm and Bernau. Muenster will meet Rist Wedel (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. ETV will play against SSV Lok Bernau (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
