The game in Herlev supposed to be also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Vaerlose (2-2) played at the court of eighth ranked Wolfpack (2-2). Wolfpack did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 89-69. Wolfpack had a 36-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Wolfpack brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The winners were led by Swedish guard Jordan Gerami Lou (182-97) who scored that evening 26 points and 4 assists and forward Leonardo Carlino (198-0) supported him with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 20 points and 4 steals by point guard Asbjorn Nerlov (196-98) did not help to save the game for Vaerlose. Senegalese center Elhadji Dieng (211-96, college: FIU, agency: Green Sports Management) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wolfpack moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Vaerlose. Wolfpack will play against Randers (#7) on the road in the next round. Vaerlose will play against Horsens IC and hopes to get back on the winning track.
