Regular Season Round 4: Copenhagen - Naestved 68-99
Date: October 15, 2021
Very expected game when 7th ranked Copenhagen (1-3) was crushed at home by top-ranked Naestved (4-0) 99-68 on Friday. Naestved dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Copenhagen's 24. Naestved had a 27-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American power forward Vincent Bailey (201-91, college: LMU) fired 19 points and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. The other American import guard Brevin Pritzl (191-96, college: Wisconsin, agency: GoEmpire Group) chipped in 20 points. Four Naestved players scored in double figures. Trinidad and Tobago swingman Zeke Moore (201-97, college: SIUE, agency: Players Group) produced 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Peter Bachmann (198-2) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Naestved have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Svendborg. Loser Copenhagen dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with Horsens IC. Naestved will meet at home Bakken (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Copenhagen will play against BAC (#6) in Aarhus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
