Regular Season Round 4: Bonn - Frankfurt 86-76

Bottom-ranked Skyliners (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 86-76 loss to third ranked Telekom Baskets (3-1) in Bonn. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright (176-95, college: Arizona) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 assists. Guard Jeremy Morgan (196-95, college: UNI) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Telekom Baskets' coach Tuomas Iisalo allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Quantez Robertson (188-84, college: Auburn, agency: Interperformances) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward Rasheed Moore (198-95, college: ESU) added 16 points in the effort for Skyliners. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Telekom Baskets moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Skyliners at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Telekom Baskets will play against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Skyliners will play against Bayern Muenchen (#6) and hope to get finally their first victory.
