Regular Season Round 3: SKM I - SKM II 68-58

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Vilniaus: SKM I (#4) and SKM II (#8). SKM I (2-0) won against visiting SKM II (1-2) 68-58. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 68-58. SKM I dominated on the defensive end, holding SKM II to just 6 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to SKM II's 22. It was a great evening for forward Naglis Sadreika (196-4) who led his team to a victory scoring 7 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Motiejus Maziliauskas (200-4) helped adding 7 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Mantas Janciauskas (193-4) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Rytis Neverdauskas (193-4) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SKM I are looking forward to face Panevezio (#5) on the road in the next round. SKM II will play against ASRC and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
