Regular Season Round 4: Timisoara - Focsani 85-70

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Timisoara (2-1) defeated at home 11th ranked Focsani (1-3) 85-70 on Saturday. Timisoara made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian-Bosnian swingman Nikola Gajic (195-91, college: SF Austin) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds and Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88) who added 18 points and 4 steals during the contest. Five Timisoara players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Henri Wade-Chatman (188-92, college: Edinboro) responded with 23 points and his fellow American import power forward Justin Baker (203-89, college: Utah Valley) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Timisoara moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Steaua B. Focsani at the other side dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Dinamo B. and Rapid. Timisoara will meet bottom-ranked Targu Jiu (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Focsani will play against Ploiesti CSM (#5) and hope to win that game.
