Not a big story in a game in Stahnsdorf where 7th ranked Rhein Stars (1-3) were defeated by fifth ranked TKS 49ers (3-1) 75-70 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was swingman Nico Kaml (195-94) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Yannick Hildebrandt (195-97) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Vincent Golson Jr (173-94, college: CSUDH) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists and Thomas Michel (200-95) added 11 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Rhein Stars players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. TKS 49ers moved-up to third place in North, which they share with Iserlohn and BSW Sixers. Newly promoted Rhein Stars keep the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. TKS 49ers will meet ETV (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rhein Stars will play against Dragons Rhoendorf (#10) and hope to win that game.
