Regular Season Round 6: Neptunas-Akv. - Telsiai 55-79

Bottom-ranked Neptunas-Akv. is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to sixth ranked Telsiai (4-2) 79-55. Telsiai dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas-Akv.'s 28. Telsiai forced 22 Neptunas-Akv. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Neptunas-Akv.'s players. Point guard Ignas Razutis (185-87) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Deividas Rasys (192-97) chipped in 7 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Oskaras Pleikys (202-1, agency: BIG) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Radvilas Kneizys (193-3) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Simonas Serapinas gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Telsiai moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Palanga. Neptunas-Akv. at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Telsiai will play against Vilnius (#9) at home in the next round. Neptunas-Akv. will play against Zalgiris II (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
