Regular Season Round 6: Braunschweig - Stade 59-80

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked SG Braunschweig (0-6) was outplayed at home by eighth ranked Stade (3-3) 80-59 on Saturday. Guard Marvin Boadu (193-89) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Spanish point guard Nil Angelats (185-93) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Simon Roosch (198-1) with 22 points and Julius Seither (203-94) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Stade moved-up to sixth place in North, which they share with Cuxhaven. Newly promoted SG Braunschweig still closes the standings with six games lost. Stade will meet at home WSG Koenigs (#8) in the next round. SG Braunschweig will play against Wolfenbuettel (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
