The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Kronberg as it allowed them to take a leadership position in South West. Kronberg defeated 5th ranked Reutlingen at home 93-81. Kronberg forced 19 Reutlingen turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for Darian Ceh who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Noah Litzbach (196-0) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Kronberg's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Noel Duarte (186-1) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Slovakian point guard Richard Sturcel (183-1) added 21 points and 4 steals in the effort for Reutlingen. Kronberg (5-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Newly promoted Reutlingen dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. They share the position with Mannheim. Reutlingen will play next round against Fellbach trying to get back on the winning streak. Kronberg will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Kaiserslautern on the road.
