The game in Kaunas was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Gargzdu (5-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Zalgiris II (2-4). Gargzdu did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 80-63 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zalgiris II. Gargzdu made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Marius Runkauskas (186-86, agency: BIG) notched 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Mantas Ruikis (197-85) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Gargzdu players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 4 assists by Liutauras Lelevicius (201-3) did not help to save the game for Zalgiris II. Gytis Nemeiksa (201-1) added 10 points and 9 rebounds. Zalgiris II's coach Vytautas Pliauga rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Gargzdu have a solid three-game winning streak.
