Regular Season Round 4: SKM II - ASRC 81-76

The biggest surprise took place in Vilniaus where host SKM II (2-2) beat league's leader ASRC (3-1) 81-76 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ASRC. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 18-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Swingman Mantas Janciauskas (193-4) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Rytis Neverdauskas (193-4) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. SKM II's coach Rokas Kasparavicius used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Nojus Lebskas (197-4) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Saimonas Jeremicius (195-4) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four ASRC players scored in double figures. SKM II moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Panevezio and Tornado KM. ASRC at the other side dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. They share it with Zalgiris II. They were replaced at the leadership position by VKKM. ASRC will play next round against strong SKM I trying to make it back to the top of the standings. SKM II will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked VKM. It will be extra interesting game as VKM is their local rival from Vilniaus.
