Very important is a road loss of third ranked Sigortam.net (3-1) against eleventh ranked Mamak (2-2) on Monday night. Visiting Sigortam.net was edged by Mamak in a tough game in Ankara 79-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sigortam.net. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Marlain Veal (175-96, college: SE Louisiana) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and the other American import center Chance Comanche (211-96, college: Arizona) who added 8 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Garrett Sim (188-90, college: Oregon) responded with 17 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Cevher Ozer (206-83) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sigortam.net players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mamak moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Sigortam.net at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost. They share it with Konyaspor. Mamak will play against Fethiye (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
