ProA top team - Science City Jena (6-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fifteenth ranked Phoenix Hagen (2-5) 89-73. Science City Jena players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Rayshawn Simmons (192-93, college: CMU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 assists. His fellow American import center Alex Herrera (206-92, college: Fort Lewis) helped adding 21 points. Science City Jena's coach Domenik Reinboth allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Haitian-American guard Shawn Occeus (193-97, college: Northeastern) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard CJ Walker (185-97, college: Ohio St.) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Four Phoenix Hagen players scored in double figures. Science City Jena have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Phoenix Hagen lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with five games lost.
