Very important is a road loss of second ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (4-2) against tenth ranked Hamburg Towers (4-2) on Friday night. Visiting MLP Academics Heidelberg was defeated by Hamburg Towers in a tough game in Hamburg 75-81. Hamburg Towers made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (211-96, college: S.Carolina) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. American swingman Caleb Homesley (198-96, college: Liberty) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Hamburg Towers' coach Pedro Calles used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games.
