Regular Season Round 5: Falcon - Herlev 75-62

Undefeated leader Falcon delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they beat bottom-ranked Herlev (0-4) 75-62. The game without a history. Falcon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. International power forward Emilie Hesseldal (185-90, college: Colorado St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 20 rebounds and 8 assists. International point guard Gritt Ryder (175-92, college: Colorado St.) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Emilie Larsen (177-1) answered with 16 points and the former international forward Ellen Iversen (180-97) added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Herlev. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Falcon have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Falcon maintains first place with 4-0 record. Defending champion Herlev still closes the standings with four games lost. Falcon will play against Aabyhoj (#4) on the road in the next round. Herlev will play against the league's second-placed Amager in Kastrup and hopes to get finally their first victory.
