There was no surprise in Goettingen where 13th ranked Bergedorf (2-5) was crushed by fifth ranked Goetting.ASC (4-2) 95-58 on Saturday. Goetting.ASC dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Bergedorf's 24. They outrebounded Bergedorf 56-27 including a 42-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Goetting.ASC looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Bergedorf's players. Goetting.ASC have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in North, which they share with Aschersleben. Loser Bergedorf dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. They share it with Rendsburg. Goetting.ASC will meet Vechta-2 (#5) on the road in the next round. Bergedorf will play against SG Braunschweig (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
