Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked OGM Orman (3-3) defeated bottom-ranked Akhisar Bld (0-6) in Ankara 73-68 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. OGM Orman made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. OGM Orman outrebounded Akhisar Bld 45-34 including 31 on the defensive glass. American-Nigerian center Andy Ogide (206-87, college: Colorado St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Bruce Massey (190-90, college: MTSU) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Hamit Sezaver (194-92) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Bulut Altin (188-93) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Akhisar Bld in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory OGM Orman went down to seventh position due to points difference, which they share with Manisa and Balikesir. Akhisar Bld lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost.
