Regular Season Round 7: Rhoendorf - BSW Sixers 76-81

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Sixers' (4-2) road victory over 7th ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (2-4) 81-76 on Sunday. Sixers forced 19 Dragons Rhoendorf turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Robin Danes (196-1) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Vincent Friederici (190-1) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Sixers' coach Christopher Schreiber used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Serbian swingman Nikola Petojevic (196-3) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Nicolas Buchholz (200-1) added 20 points respectively for Dragons Rhoendorf in the defeat. Five Sixers and four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Sixers moved-up to fourth place in North, which they share with Wedel and Wolmirstedt. Newly promoted Dragons Rhoendorf keeps the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Schwelm and Duesseldorf. Sixers will meet at home higher ranked TKS 49ers (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dragons Rhoendorf will play against SSV Lok Bernau (#10) and hope to secure a win.
