Regular Season Round 7: OrangeAcad. - Bball Loewen 92-81

The game between third ranked Loewen (4-2) and fifth ranked OrangeAcademy (4-2) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Loewen was defeated by OrangeAcademy in Ulm 81-92. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Loewen. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when OrangeAcademy made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Marius Stoll (197-99) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Michael Rataj (204-3) contributed with 17 points for the winners. American Tyseem Lyles (185-92, college: Mercy) answered with 21 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Miles Osei (196-2) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Loewen. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. OrangeAcademy moved-up to fourth place in South, which they share with Bball Loewen. OrangeAcademy is looking forward to face White Wings (#9) in Hanau in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Loewen will have a break next round.
