Regular Season Round 7: AC Wizards - Oberhaching 71-82

Rather expected game when 11th ranked Arvato College Wizards (1-6) lost to ninth ranked Deisenhofen (2-3) in Karlsruhe 71-82 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for Janosch Koegler (190-93) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Point guard Philipp Bode (179-1) accounted for 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Five Deisenhofen players scored in double figures. Christoph Rupp (195-94) came up with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Zaire Thompson (180-95, college: Fordham) added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Arvato College Wizards in the defeat. Deisenhofen moved-up to seventh place in South. Arvato College Wizards lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with six games lost. Deisenhofen will meet at home league's leader Koblenz in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Arvato College Wizards will play against Bayern (#13) in Muenchen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
