Regular Season Round 5: Final Spor - Kagitspor 71-69

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Kagitspor (2-3) was edged by tenth ranked Final Spor (2-4) in Bursa 71-69 on Monday. American-Trinidad and Tobago point guard Terrell Gomez (173-98, college: SDSU) nailed 23 points and 4 assists for the winning side and point guard Sabahattin Gondur (185-95) accounted for 12 points and 8 assists. Mehmet Kizil (-96) came up with 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Sertay Gursu (194-87) added 13 points respectively for Kagitspor in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Final Spor went down to eleventh position due to points difference, which they share with Mersin BBGSK and Antalya. Kagitspor lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth place with three games lost.
