Regular Season Round 4: Klosterneuburg - Timberwolves 62-67

Timberwolves has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Klosterneuburg, where they defeated Dukes (1-3) 67-62. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. The winners were led by Slovenian center Ziga Fifolt (210-93) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds and Bosnian forward Nemanja Nikolic (202-89) supported him with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Timberwolves players scored in double figures. Even 8 points and 8 rebounds by forward Ian Moschik (203-96) did not help to save the game for Dukes. American forward James Murray-Boyles (201-97, college: UNCP) added 12 points for lost side. Dukes' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Timberwolves left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Klosterneuburg. It was Dukes' third loss in a row. Timberwolves will play against league's second-placed Gunners Oberwart at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Dukes will play against UBC St. Poelten (#4) in St.Poelten to get more than just one victory in their record.
