Regular Season Round 12: Krivbas - Mykolaiv 86-62

No shocking result in a game in Kryvyi Rih where eighth ranked Krivbas (5-7) smashed 11th ranked Mykolaiv (3-9) 86-62 on Thursday. The game without a history. Krivbas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Krivbas outrebounded Mykolaiv 42-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Zach Copeland (193-97, college: Illinois St.) who added 16 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Andre Walker (180-96, college: Loyola, MD) with 12 points and 5 assists and power forward Oleksandr Tishchenko (206-89, agency: BIG) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Krivbas moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Zaporizhye. Mykolaiv lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Ternopil-TNEU. Krivbas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Mykolaiv will play against Zaporizhye (#7) and hope to secure a win.
