The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Samsun as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Samsun defeated 15th ranked Fethiye at home 83-74. American point guard JJ Frazier (178-95, college: Georgia) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists (on 14-of-15 shooting from the field). His fellow American import center Jalone Friday (206-96, college: NM State) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: URI) answered with 26 points and 6 rebounds and guard Tugberk Gedikli (192-91) added 7 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Fethiye. Fethiye's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Samsun (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Fethiye lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with five games lost.
