Regular Season Round 7: BAC - Horsens IC 76-86

Very significant was Horsens IC's (#4) 86-76 road victory against 5th ranked BAC. Horsens IC forced 21 BAC turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Khalil Ahmad (191-96, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Slash Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists. His fellow American import guard Andy Cleaves II (188, college: CS Stanislaus) accounted for 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: MSSU) came up with 25 points and swingman Magnus Mollgaard (196-0) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for BAC in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Horsens IC. They maintain fourth place with 4-3 record. BAC at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Vaerlose. Horsens IC will play against Wolfpack (#8) in Herlev in the next round. BAC will play on the road against Naestved and hopes to get back on the winning track.
