Regular Season Round 8: Oberhaching - Koblenz 87-64

The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Koblenz (6-1) on the court of sixth ranked Deisenhofen on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Deisenhofen 87-64. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Koblenz. Deisenhofen forced 22 Koblenz turnovers and had a 26-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Janosch Koegler (190-93) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 assists and Peter Zeis (196-89) who added 17 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Deisenhofen players scored in double figures. Point guard Marvin Heckel (190-97) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Dominique Johnson (194-92) scored 5 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Despite that victory Deisenhofen went down to seventh position (South) due to points difference. Newly promoted Koblenz keeps the second place with one game lost. Deisenhofen are looking forward to face league's leader Titans in Dresden in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Koblenz will play at home against White Wings and is hoping to win this game.
