Very predictable result in Hanau where fourth ranked OrangeAcademy (5-2) defeated 9th ranked White Wings (1-3) 83-67 on Saturday. OrangeAcademy forced 21 White Wings turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by White Wings' players. The best player for the winners was Austrian forward David Fuchs (203-3) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. American Jacob Ensminger (203-4) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American swingman JD Tisdale (196-93, college: Rogers St.) produced 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Italian-Brazilian forward Victor Demetrio (206-95, college: OVU) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. OrangeAcademy moved-up to third place in South, which they share with Frankfurt Jrs and Bball Loewen. Loser White Wings dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. OrangeAcademy will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. White Wings will play against the league's second-placed Koblenz (#2) and hope to win that game.
