Top ranked Berlin BG 2000 (6-2) recorded its second loss on the court of tenth ranked Neustadt TSV on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Neustadt TSV 62-54. The best player for the winners was American-Jamaican center Brandon McLean (201-95, college: Huntingdon) who scored 9 points and 14 rebounds. Dutch point guard Dyon Doekhi (188-87) chipped in 14 points. Forward Femi Oladipo (201-90) produced 14 points and forward Roman Bedime (203-1) added 4 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Neustadt TSV (3-4) moved-up to eighth place in North. Berlin BG 2000 at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Westerstede. Neustadt TSV are looking forward to face higher ranked Goetting.ASC (#7) in Goettingen in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
