Very expected game when 13th ranked Ulm BBU 01 (1-6) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Limburg (4-4) 71-65 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward KJ Sherrill (203-91, college: Augusta) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and Austrian-Croatian point guard Matej Kljaic (189-93) who added 26 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Four Limburg players scored in double figures. Bulgarian Simeon Dimitrov (196-4) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Marko Rosic (176-5) scored 15 points. Limburg moved-up to seventh place in South West, which they share with Fellbach. Loser Ulm BBU 01 keeps the thirteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Kaiserslautern. Limburg will meet higher ranked Reutlingen (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ulm BBU 01 will play against Giessen Pointers (#5) and hope to win that game.
