Very expected game in Dresden where 8th ranked Rackelos (2-6) were defeated by top-ranked Titans (7-0) 85-74 on Saturday. Titans looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized American Grant Teichmann (191-96, college: C-N) who scored 21 points. Center Georg Voigtmann (213-94) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Johannes Lischka (203-87) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and American Kienan Walter (206-97, college: N.Dakota) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Titans have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 7-0 record. Loser Rackelos keep the eighth place with six games lost. Titans will meet Deisenhofen (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Rackelos will play against Speyer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
