Everything went according to plan when first ranked Herford (7-1) won against at home 13th ranked Dorsten (2-6) 83-71 on Sunday. Herford made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game, while Dorsten only scored five points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Ole Wendt (190-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists and American guard Juhwan Harris-Dyson (196-98, college: California) who added 25 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Herford's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Tyler Brevard (189-98, college: Lander) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Jason Fabek (190-0) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds.
