Regular Season Round 7: Sezana - Postojna 78-73

Very expected game when 9th ranked Postojna (2-4) lost on the road to fifth ranked Sezana (4-3) 78-73 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Postojna was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Maksim Gorbachov (190-0) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 assists. Montenegrin Balsa Pavicevic (-0) accounted for 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Sezana's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Tilen Zalar (190-87) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Sebastjan Borse (194-95) added 19 points respectively for Postojna in the defeat. Four Postojna players scored in double figures. Sezana moved-up to fourth place. Loser Postojna dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Nova Gorica. Sezana will meet league's leader Slovan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Postojna will play against Celje (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
