Bottom-ranked Prienai CBet is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to ninth ranked Neptunas (2-6) 87-62. Neptunas outrebounded Prienai CBet 41-21 including 28 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for center Benas Griciunas (210-94, college: EWU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Matas Jogela (201-98) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Neptunas players scored in double figures. Forward Rapolas Ivanauskas (208-98, college: Cincinnati) responded with 15 points and Justinas Jogminas (197-97) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Neptunas moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Nevezis. Prienai CBet lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost. Neptunas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Prienai CBet will play on the road against Jonava (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
