Superleague top team - Prometey (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Dynamo-NPU (1-11) in Kamianske 102-80. The game without a history. Prometey led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Prometey forced 19 Dynamo-NPU turnovers and outrebounded them 45-24 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Joyner Holmes (190-98, college: Texas) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international swingman Viktoria Kondus (176-97, agency: BIG) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Prometey's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Keke Calloway (170-97, college: Mercer) replied with 32 points and 5 assists and her fellow American import forward Kayla Mobley (180-90, college: Clayton St.) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Dynamo-NPU. Five Prometey and four Dynamo-NPU players scored in double figures. Prometey have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-0 record. Dynamo-NPU lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. Prometey are looking forward to face Kyiv Basket (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dynamo-NPU's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kyiv Budivelnyk.
