Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Fritz Hemschemeier (182-98) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 7 assists. American forward Desmond Ringer (206-94, college: Mercer) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds and guard Deon McDuffie (186-93, college: Rattelsdorf) added 17 points, 8 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Cuxhaven. Five Westerstede and four Cuxhaven players scored in double figures. Westerstede maintains first position in North with 8-2 record. Cuxhaven at the other side keeps the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Neustadt TSV. Westerstede will play against Stade (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Cuxhaven will play against Bramsche (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
