Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Bursa (2-2) was outscored at home by fourth ranked Ormanspor (4-1) 97-70 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Ormanspor especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. French forward Soana Lucet (185-87, college: Arizona, agency: LBM Management) nailed 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and American center Teaira McCowan (201-96, college: MSU) accounted for 18 points and 10 rebounds. Five Ormanspor players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American power forward Victoria Macaulay (193-90, college: Temple) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Romanian forward Claudia Cuic (182-89) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for Bursa in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ormanspor. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Mersin. Newly promoted Bursa keeps the ninth position with two games lost. Ormanspor will meet at home bottom-ranked Kayseri (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Bursa will play against Besiktas (#12) in Istanbul and hope to secure a win.
