Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked ALBA Berlin and 9th ranked ratiopharm Ulm had identical 4-3 record. But ratiopharm Ulm was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Berlin 71-66 on Sunday night. ALBA Berlin outrebounded ratiopharm Ulm 45-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by Swedish swingman Marcus Eriksson (201-93) who scored that evening 20 points and American Luke Sikma (202-89, college: Portland) supported him with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds by Brazilian center Cristiano Felicio (206-92, college: Oregon) did not help to save the game for ratiopharm Ulm. American guard Sindarius Thornwell (196-94, college: S.Carolina) added 11 points for the hosts. Four ratiopharm Ulm players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. ALBA Berlin have a solid three-game winning streak.
